La collezione di fotografie e memorabilia di Mario “Sem Vaccaro” Capozucca, in esposizione al Museo MAGMA che con Nuova Cartacanta e DinamicArt Studio – Milano, propone una mostra straordinaria negli spazi museali. 

Scatti rubati, sale tematiche e un percorso emozionale per sottolineare che la più grande diva ispiratrice di molti, leggera come una piuma, è sempre nei cuori di tutti. 

“Che cosa ha voluto fare il Museo MAGMA di Civitanova con questa mostra? 
Non solo per celebrare i 100 anni dalla nascita della grande Marilyn, ma soprattutto per far sapere al pubblico come Marilyn, l’icona Monroe, sia stata la “musa ispiratrice” di uno dei principali fenomeni di moda nazionali espressi dal nostro territorio e cioè Mario Capozucca, il fenomeno “Sem il Vaccaro”. Le sue intuizioni, la sua creatività, la sua ” tendenza moda” che dagli anni ‘70 lo hanno fatto essere già prima di Fiorucci, e anche poi, ai livelli più apprezzati della Moda, è espressione della cultura materiale del nostro territorio civitanovese. 
Con questa mostra il MAGMA, unico museo della grafica e del manifesto d’Italia, vuole rendere omaggio al maestro, artigiano, creativo che dalla provincia ha saputo imporsi con intraprendenza sulla scena nazionale. Un omaggio a te Mario, e… alla tua musa ispiratrice: Marilyn Monroe.”

       Mario Capozucca’s  — a.k.a. “Sem Vaccaro” — collection of pictures and memorabilia are put on display at the Magma Museum that proposes an extraordinary exhibition in the museum spaces in cooperation with Nuova Cartacanta and DinamicArt Studio-Milano.

         A couple of stolen snapshots and thematic halls are displayed. They cover an emotional journey in the life of the diva and that emphasises the greatest diva and inspiring muse of the many, light as a feather, but always present in our hearts.

“But, what was the Magma Museum in Civitanova up to, by this exhibition? What was that all about?”

The Magma Museum gets together with its audience not only to celebrate the anniversary of one hundred years from the birth of the great and wonderful star Marilyn Monroe, but also to make people become aware of how Marilyn, the iconic Monroe, was the “inspiring muse” of one of the main national fashion phenomena expressed in our territory — that is to say Mario Capuzucca’s “Sem il Vaccaro” phenomenon. In the 70’s, his intuition, his creativity, his “fashionable trend” had made him one of the most appreciated at a fashion level, even before Fiorucci. He is a concrete expression of the material culture of our Civitanovese territory.

By means of this exhibition, the Magma Museum — the single and unique museum of graphic design and manifesto in Italy would like to pay homage to the Maestro, hand-crafted artisan and creative mind of our province. The man who has made a name of himself on the national scene, thanks to his ambition and entrepreneurial spirit. Here a homage to you, my dear Mario… and to you, our inspiring muse Marilyn Monroe.
